A taste of the Deep Transformation experience
From the first time we offered this course, I was struck by the depth of reflections on such a complex theme, which is understanding the systems in our society and giving the first steps towards what are the possible healthy alternatives for the planet to continue flourishing.
This time around, Gaia Education is sharing the first video lesson (out of 20!) for free to anyone interested in having a better sense of the course! For that first session, Jeremy shares the challenging panorama we are facing as a global community and introduces some of the patterns that shaped history. From detailed pinpoints in history, to different cultural contributions, Jeremy guides us to possible scenarios we are heading to, and invites us to imagine a Sustainable Flourishing scenario. Moving from the big picture to real practical reflections with mastery, we are invited to look at our Implicit Assumptions, and how some things shape our actions without us even realising.
I have seen participants joining the course for a second, and sometimes, for a third run! That tells how it is such an unique journey where you can connect with people from all corners of the world and absorb the course in different ways, depending on where you are at in life, what catches your attention, and how much of it you integrate in your life. The live sessions and the forums are a lovely opportunity to weave each other’s learning, sometimes being sparked by a new direction of thought, sometimes by being inspired by what people are already doing in the world.
Jeremy has a very open and curious presence, which for me, feels like being in the presence of a philosopher, confabulating ideas, going deep on the roots of the matter, and listening to others, wanting to learn together. This approach helps build a collaborative and creative environment where each edition is unique and with an amazing spectrum of possibilities to explore.
Check out the free lesson and see how it lands for you! Think about the Implicit Assumptions in your life and how your perspectives could benefit from joining this course.
I look forward to seeing you there!
