Join Gaia Education’s team member Peter Gringinger, SDG Programme Coordinator, the mind behind the reinvigoration of our work and offers on the community based implementation of the Agenda 2030 and the 17 SDGs.
Since 2015, when the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs were agreed upon by all countries represented in the UN, we now have reached a critical juncture in our journey toward implementing the Agenda 2030 and achieving the SDGs. Unfortunately, global progress remains significantly off track, putting the 2030 targets—and our collective future—at serious risk.
The recent ‘Pact for the Future’ presented in the UN Summit of the Future in October 2024 in New York offers a renewed sense of urgency and ambition. This initiative not only accelerates efforts toward achieving the SDGs but also envisions a bold leap beyond 2030 into a regenerative future.
We at Gaia Education take on the challenge to do our part to bring the achievement of the Agenda back on track and even move beyond the SDG towards a regenerative post-2030 future.
Learn about the tools, training offers and the skills on how you can support and lead your local community or organisation to innovatively achieve more sustainable projects and initiatives and contribute to reaching the Agenda 2030 and SDGs in your context and locality, including the revised and updated online SDGs Multipliers course (to start 17th February 2025).
Don't miss this enlightening and practical presentation including some interactive activities on how to help your community, school, university or business to design projects implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in your local area. Become a trainer or ‘multiplier’ of SDG awareness and implementation in schools, universities and communities.
