Gaia Education was one of the 25 official exhibitors at the UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development - Moving into the Second Half of the UN Decade.

Five years into the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development for which UNESCO is the lead agency, the conference highlighted the relevance of ESD to all of education, promoted international exchange on ESD, especially between countries of the North and the South, carried out a stock-taking of the implementation of the UN Decade, and developed strategies for the way ahead

The conference took place from March 31st to April 2nd 2009, in Bonn, Germany and gathered 900 participants from 150 countries.
